Auntie Knows Native
Where's the gathering? Auntie knows.
For tribes and organizations

Claim your listing

Your listing is free. Once it's confirmed, you can log in, keep it current and connect your public calendar.

How it works

  1. Send the form below, ideally from an email address on your tribe or organization's own web address.
  2. Auntie calls your office at the public phone number on your official website to confirm. We never use a number given only in the request.
  3. Once confirmed, you get an email. Log in at Manage your listing with a one-time code. No password needed.

Any public online calendar can connect: Google, Outlook, Apple iCloud, or a website calendar with an iCal link. No calendar yet? After you log in, the Manage page shows how to make a free one in about five minutes.

Your calendar, your call

  • Nothing shows until you say so. Every new event from your calendar starts hidden. It appears on Auntie Knows Native only after you choose Show.
  • We only read, never write. We use your calendar's public address. We can't add, change or delete anything on your calendar.
  • Private stays private. Private events are never imported. Events that appear ceremonial are automatically held back, and nothing becomes public unless you choose Show.
  • We'll tell you what's new. When new events turn up, you get a short email listing them. Choose Show or Hide, and your choice sticks.
  • You can change your mind anytime. Hide an event and it comes off the page within a minute. Hiding only changes what shows here, never your own calendar.
  • Past events drop off on their own. You can also disconnect your calendar at any time by clearing the link.

Posting rules

  • Public events only. Never list private ceremonies, or anything else your community keeps private.
  • Keep it accurate and current. Edits go live right away, and Auntie can hide anything that breaks these rules.
  • No ads or sales pitches in your description; businesses list through Advertise.
  • Only your own card and calendar can be changed here. Recognition, badges and where you appear on the page stay with Auntie.
  • Leaving your role? Email Auntie so your replacement can be confirmed. More than one person can manage a listing.

A free business listing for tribes

Every tribe that claims its listing also gets one free business listing for a tribal business: one category, up to five counties, with no end date. It shows the Tribe-Owned badge. Set it up after you log in, and swap it for a different business anytime. Auntie reviews each one before it goes live.
